Communication is a performance art created by Shuyi Gao and performed with the performing artist Gagan. 
This performance is about human language and communication. If a person is in a foreign language environment, how should he or she communicate with others? If a person normally uses visuals and body language to communicate, how do they communicate when they cannot do so? In what ways can we communicate?
Performers followed instructions to do the performance.
The instruction is as follows:
For this performance you will need to blindfold yourself and be fixed in a chair.
You will need to communicate with each other in both your native language and English.
As you are both performing artists, you can communicate with each other about a performance piece of yours.
You are not allowed to use any body language or eye contact.
During the whole process, you must do your part to understand what each other is saying now. Communication cannot be abandoned or given up in the process. How to end performance depend on your communication.
